Product Review: Notor Habana Black Daily Planner
Dec 17th, 2008 by Jyll
I received the Notor Habana Black Daily Planner a couple of weeks ago from Karen Doherty of Exaclair, Inc. It’s a 2009 planner and I’m already chomping at the bit to fully use it!
The size is 4-3/4″ x 6-3/4″ and fits nicely in either my handbag or briefcase. The cover is hardbound and made of simulated leather with slightly rounded corners. There is a black elastic band that helps keep the planner closed while in transit.
The 64g acid-free paper is secured by sewn binding and will lay flat after a couple of uses. This feature is important to me as my primary writing instrument is a fountain pen. The paper is PEFC certified, chlorine-free and bio-whitened. Kudos to Quo Vadis for making a “green” planner! The tear-off corners make it easier to locate the current day’s page.
Writing in this planner is a joy! Drying times with J. Herbin’s Gris Nuage and Larme de Cassis ranged from 5-7 seconds in a Pilot 78G and Pelikan M215 respectively.
The planner consists of a title page, note pages, holiday listings, daily planner pages, maps and address book section. A convenient pocket located on the inside back cover is great for carrying some spare sticky notes and a couple of extra business cards.
Overall, this is a great product! I encourage you to visit the Quo Vadis site to learn more and to purchase one of your own. I did receive this planner at no charge in exchange for writing this review.
