Perseverance is commitment, hard work, patience, endurance. Dictionary.com defines perseverance as steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. I believe perseverance is what Jesus was trying to teach us in Matthew 7:7-11.

How many corporate mission statements claim to put people first? How many corporations actually do? There isn’t a day that has gone by without some company closing, filing bankruptcy, or reducing jobs. These are tough economic times. We all have neighbors, family, friends that have been affected. Who is to blame?
